Airbag ECU Reset After Accident
After a collision, even a minor one, your vehicle's airbag ECU records a crash code that permanently locks it. Consequence: the airbags will no longer deploy, the SRS light remains on, and in many cases, your vehicle may even refuse to start until the ECU has been addressed.

⚠️ Safety — battery disconnection mandatory
The airbag ECU contains motion sensors. Handling it while the battery is connected — during removal or reinstallation — can be interpreted as a collision and trigger airbag deployment. At close range, a deploying airbag causes serious injuries.
Therefore, disconnect the battery before removing the ECU, allow the circuit to discharge, and only reconnect it once the module is reinstalled and reconnected. This precaution applies to both directions of the operation: reconnection is often neglected, and it's one of the riskiest moments.

Important to Know
This service is intended for an ECU damaged by a collision. If your ECU is physically destroyed (immersion, severe short circuit), contact us for a preliminary diagnosis.
The reset erases crash data in accordance with automotive electronics practices. The airbags themselves (cushions + pretensioned belts) must be replaced by an authorized garage after deployment — we only intervene on the ECU.
